If you just want to watch some stuff blow up, this will work. The scene destroying the pyramids was cool Some sexy poses from Foxy doesn't hurt either. The first scene of her bent over on the bike was nice. Conversation ruins the film so I'd skip past it. It's a toss up as to whether this one or the previous Transformers plot was worse.
I finally put my KCRW membership to use and won tickets to Lenka at Hotel Cafe. Besides hearing her on KCRW, no idea what else she sings and it's better that way. She's a bit too happy pop-py for me. Plus I thought she'd be super cute but that wasn't the case either. Either way, it was a good show especially since it was at Hotel cafe.
Even if you're not really feeling their music, you'll like their on stage banter. They were supporting their new album and played it in it's entirety. Future bro-in-law has been singing it's praises, it was OK. Not as playful as The Con, it has a more mature feel to it. Also, there's more different styles of songs, like there's a punk rock type song. I'd say there's probably 3-4 really good songs.
Funny moment in the concert was when Tegan freaked out when this girl came onto the stage and tried to hug her.
This is one of the most impressive podcasts I've seen for NPR: Live Concerts. I was pretty much mesmerized by the guitar playing. It's a great podcasts cause of the close ups they have of them playing.
